MDWIT: Where women and technology come together!
The Multinational Development of Women in Technology (MDWIT) was founded to accelerate growth in the global knowledge economy. By combining women’s latent potential with innovative ideas enabled through technology, all women and girls, their families and communities prosper. The Mission
MDWIT’s mission is to increase globally the leadership of women in all areas of technology
This is accomplished through advocacy and the development, dissemination, and implementation of effective practices, programs, and research to achieve the following objectives:
- Increase the number of women and girls around the globe who are preparing for careers in technology related.
- Increase the number of women in leadership positions in technology related careers.
- Collaborate with complementary organizations to implement more effectively practices and programs that successfully support our mission.
- Utilize information technology resources to share information and encourage global collaboration among organizations supporting women and girls in technology.
- Foster research and
dissemination findings concerning gender and
technology to understand and overcome the
barriers to achieve our mission.
