Seek Volunteers for Lego Tournament December 19th

The Digital Harbor High School Robotics Club, the /Electric Sheep/, is excited to announce it will be the site of a Maryland FIRST Lego League (FLL) Regional Tournament Qualifier on December 19, 2009 from  7:00 A.M. until 5:00 P.M. in the school’s cafeteria. FIRST Lego League introduces younger students to real-world engineering challenges by building LEGO-based robots to complete tasks on a thematic playing surface. We are expecting to host 200-plus students, parents, teachers and administrators from 16 Baltimore area FLL middle school teams.

The "Electric Sheep" are soliciting your volunteer support as this program is volunteer run on the local, national and international levels. We are in need of judges, judge’s assistants, runners, time keepers, referees, pit managers, pit runners, team queue, practice table managers, greeters, registration/information table staff, and floaters. Please contact us if you are interested in one of the above positions. There will be trainings for the various judging and refereeing positions.
