WASHINGTON, D.C. and BALTIMORE, MD – Claudia Morrell, CEO of the Multinational Development of Women in Technology (MDWIT), is speaking today at the World Bank to highlight the release of the World Bank Working Paper No. 176: Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) for Women’s Socioeconomic Empowerment. The paper is the first of its kind designed to inspire policy debate and continued monitoring of progress for women in developing counties in their ability to harness what information and communication offers.
